Spiritual direction is a space created with a director for a directee's story to be attended to by the God of your understanding. I look for how your story interacts with God and who you understand God to be. I am aware of how all stories become spiritual stories. The wisdom of Spiritual Direction reminds us that I am a gatekeeper and space holder for our soul's journey to be known, responded to by God, and assumptions laid to rest. Saying what is true to God, hearing the response, and being present to the questions, but not needing them answered. I'm not a coach, although new spaces may open as we work together; I'm not a counselor, although heavy heart work may arrive as we sit with God. I am not a friend, although we will enjoy friendship. I am not a pastor, yet I may care, share truth, minister, and pray for you. I am a spiritual director and would be honored to sit with you.
